Paul Borck

Paul is a research assistant in the EUROPE RE project and currently enrolled as a master’s student in the master's programe in Comparative and International Studies at ETH und the University of Zurich. Holding a degree in mathematics from the university of Göttingen he is not afraid of numbers and has some basic programming skills. Leveraging these skills, he bases his own research on quantitative work identifying party positions and analysing the latter. As a European citizen and enthusiast for Latin America these two continents and the differences in their institutional set-ups inspire his research interests. At the heart lies the question of how people choose their rules of governance and the impact these choices have on their societies.
