Elisa Paepcke

Elisa is a PhD student at EUROPE RE. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Mannheim, where she was introduced to the fascinating world of quantitative methods and R. Here she focused on multilevel models and is further interested in causal inference designs. During her Erasmus semester at the Central European University in Vienna, as well as during her German-French bachelor studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg and Université Paris XII, she studied extensively the European Union and European politics. She is interested in crisis and European integration research and, more recently, European reinsurance polity. During her studies, she also worked in consulting in the German public sector on topics related to AI and digitalization.
