The Group

The Multilevel Politics Research Group is headed by Prof. Christian Freudlsperger and consists of the PhD students Quido Haškovec and Elisa Paepcke, the research assistant Paul Borck, and manager Jessica Langer.

The MLP group studies the governance of multilevel political systems, with a particular focus on the institutional development, comparative analysis, and policy-making of the European Union. Current projects of the MLP group focus on the transboundary management of environmental, geopolitical, and technological risks in the EU, and recent innovations in policy implementation in the EU and other multilevel systems.
